These terms
These terms govern your use of harlowne.com and any sale of garden hand tools made through it by XiNUo-D Trading Co., Limited. By enquiring, accepting a quotation or paying an invoice you accept them. If you deal as a business, you confirm you may bind that business. Anything agreed in writing on the order thread overrides these terms for that order.

What this site is
This is a display and enquiry site. There is no checkout, no basket that takes payment and no card field anywhere on it. Prices, stock and lead times shown here are an invitation to enquire, not an offer capable of acceptance, and they may change before we confirm anything in writing.

Quotes and contract formation
A contract exists only when we issue a written confirmation or a formal invoice and you accept it. An enquiry, a WhatsApp message, a proforma request or an automated reply does not create one. We may decline an order, or set a minimum quantity, without giving a reason. Where we have already taken payment and then cannot supply, we refund it in full.

Prices and currency
Prices are quoted in United States dollars unless the confirmation says otherwise, and the price on our written confirmation governs. Prices exclude destination duty, tax, brokerage and any clearance charge unless we state DDP in writing. We may correct an obvious pricing or specification error before the contract is formed, and you may then cancel without charge.

Payment
Payment is by bank transfer to the account named on our invoice, or by another method we agree in writing. We do not accept card details by email and will not process them. Bank charges are borne by the payer. Where a payment is not received by the date on the invoice we may release the reserved stock and re-quote.

Lead time, packing and delivery
We pack in Hong Kong, normally within 3 working days of a cleared payment, and hand the parcel to a courier or forwarder. Transit estimates are the carrier's, not a promise. Tools travel wrapped in oiled paper with heads sleeved; where a shipment is large we may split it across cartons and tell you how many.

Risk and title
Risk in the tools passes to you when the carrier takes delivery from us, or on delivery if we have agreed DDP. Title passes when we have received payment in full in cleared funds. Until title passes you hold the goods for us and must keep them identifiable if we ask. These terms do not affect any right you have against the carrier.

Import duty, tax and clearance
Import duty, value-added tax, sales tax, brokerage and clearance fees in the destination country are yours unless we have agreed DDP in writing. You are responsible for any import licence or restricted-goods permission your country requires for garden tools and sharp blades, and for giving us a correct address and contact number for the carrier.

Returns, faults and warranty
Returns run under our returns policy: 14 days from delivery for change of mind on unwrapped tools, a 12-month warranty against a snapped tang, a cracked socket or a detached ferrule, and the exclusions set out there. A tool worked in soil and sharpened is not returnable for change of mind; surface rust from storage is a maintenance matter, not a fault. Read that page before you send anything back.

Sharp tools and safe use
These are edged hand tools. They leave our bench sharp, and some have points that will go through a boot. Safe use is the buyer's responsibility. Wear gloves and eye protection, keep blades sheathed when carrying, never cut toward your hand, and keep tools away from children. We are not liable for injury, loss or damage caused by misuse, by a tool left sharp and accessible, or by a modified or re-ground blade.

Inspect on delivery
You must inspect the tools when they arrive. Check the edge, the socket, the ferrule and the handle before the tool is used, and photograph the carton if it is crushed or opened. Report a blunt, bent, cracked or split tool within 14 days of delivery, with photographs. A fault reported after the tool has been used in soil is judged as a warranty claim, not transit damage.

Colour, weight and batch variation
Ash grain, forge scale, oil tone and the exact hue of a galvanised finish vary from lot to lot. Stated weights are nominal and may differ by around 10 g; lengths by a few millimetres. Photographs are of the line, not of the individual piece you will receive. That variation is the material, not a defect.

Intellectual property
The Yard Loam name, the text, the photography and the drawings on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may quote a product description for a review or a listing that resells our tools, with a credit. You may not copy the site, scrape it, or use our images in a way that suggests a partnership we have not agreed in writing.

Acceptable use
Do not probe, overload or scrape this site, do not submit false enquiry details, and do not use our mailbox or WhatsApp number for unsolicited marketing. We may block an address or refuse to quote where a request is abusive, fraudulent or intended to copy our product data at scale.

Third-party links
Where this site links to a carrier, a bank or a directory, that link is for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, security or data practice. A link is not an endorsement and does not make them part of our contract with you.

Disclaimer and liability cap
We warrant that tools match the written specification on the confirmation and are free of the faults named in clause 9. Beyond that, all implied warranties are excluded so far as Hong Kong law permits. We are not liable for lost crop, lost profit, lost labour or indirect loss. Our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for the tools in that order. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Force majeure
We are not in breach where delay or failure is caused by something outside our reasonable control: typhoon, flood, fire, epidemic, war, port or customs strike, carrier failure, a steel mill closure or a sudden export restriction. If such an event lasts more than 60 days either side may cancel the affected order, and we refund any payment for tools not yet dispatched.

Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any contract made under them are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region have exclusive jurisdiction, and both sides submit to it. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future orders when the law, our carriers or our product line change. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date of your order confirmation, and the date at the top of the page changes with it. A change does not alter a contract we have already confirmed.

Severability and contact
If a clause is found unenforceable, the rest stand and the unenforceable clause is read down to the minimum the law allows. Questions about these terms, a quotation or an invoice go to xinuo-d@outlook.com; the desk answers within one working day.
